The second webinar in an on-going series hosted by the Data Center Alliance, this webinar will explore the relationship between cooling methodologies and environmental monitoring devices in today's densely populated data centers.

Ed Eacueo, Wright Line’s Director of Data Center Business and Jean-Paul Daemen, CEO of Uptime Devices, will be presenting.

“Per square foot, a data center within a larger facility is the most expensive portion of a modern building complex. This expense is due to the evolving energy costs in the data center that are by-products of faster, more powerful servers and other hardware deployed there,” said Wright Line’s Ed Eacuero. “We’ll look at how chaos cooling manifests itself in the data center and how to identify four critical temperatures that improve thermal management conditions. We’ll also provide some ideas that will help to regulate costs in legacy data centers or new build-outs.”

The webinar will also cover the evolution of data center smart sensing technology from passively to actively identifying hot spots, managing multi-vendor power deployments, rebooting remote IT equipment and creating a data center that can automatically react to an environmental, power or physical threat.

Uptime Devices will also demonstrate where to place a sensor and why, how to enable intelligent power management based on environmental needs and how to control access inside the data center.”
