Airflow Directors are designed for Cisco 6509, 6513 and 9513 switches that have side-to-side cooling. The intake allows cold air to be drawn from the cold aisle, through the Airflow Director and enter the switch from the side. The switch’s fans pull the air across the cards and exhaust the hot air out the opposite side which is left open.

A well designed airflow and cable management solution from Wright Line includes additional products that are not included in the kit, such as blanking panels, vertical blanking panels and modified vertical brush strips to further restrict bypass airflow.
